Innovative Approach in Clinical Research: Prof. Dr. Ahmet Uğur Yılmaz Clinical Research Center
Located in a 281-square-meter dedicated area of our hospital, the Prof. Dr. Ahmet Uğur Yılmaz Clinical Research Center conducts clinical trials and Phase II and III drug studies using the latest technological infrastructure and equipment. This center is a concrete example of our hospital’s innovative and pioneering approach in clinical research.
We make significant contributions to clinical studies with our state-of-the-art technologies, including the 3 Tesla MRI device supported by artificial intelligence, which is exclusively available in our hospital in the Aegean Region, and various advanced technologies used in monitoring, diagnosing, and treating diseases across different medical disciplines.

Clinical research, involving voluntary participants, encompasses scientific studies aimed at acquiring medical knowledge. Before new drugs, medical devices, and other treatment methods are widely adopted, they must undergo clinical research to test their safety and efficacy.

Since opening its doors in 2011 in İzmir, IEU Medical Point Hospital has been providing comprehensive and high-quality healthcare services. The hospital operates in a modern 50,000-square-meter facility with 301 patient beds, 88 intensive care units, 11 fully equipped operating rooms, 125 specialist physicians, and 1,145 experienced healthcare professionals.
